BRYN KING – AT THIS POINT

Bryn King. Real Name No Gimmicks.
Every detail of what makes up this ground breaking artist, also makes him stand out in an ever changing and over crowded game. Hailing from what some would consider “The Last Region”, King calls Seattle home, but was born on the west side of Bremerton, WA during the winter of the beginning of a decade. January 21st 1990.
With his father being an escaped convict until King entered second grade, Life started out on the wrong foot. Having his share of encounters with the law, heading to prison on a case by 19 wasn’t much of a surprise. Having never written a rhyme or participated in music in any way, Bryn King picked up a pen while out on bail in November 2010. He found that something other than a hustle came very naturally to him. It took two weeks for his name to be brought to the attention of a multi platinum producer from Seattle named Kevin Gardner who described this brand new artist as a Phenomena.
After serving his time Bryn King was picked up the day of his release with life in a new direction and before anything else, went straight to the studio. King dropped his “Rain Season” mixtape online less than a year after writing his first lines on paper, and his buzz began. Shortly after this an opportunity presented itself all the way from Houston TX. King took the little money he had to his name and flew across the country where he met “G Bread” who introduced him to a Mrs. Wes also known as Moma C, Mother to the late Pimp C who was half of the most legendary rap duo of all time, UnderGround Kings. After four months in Texas, Bryn King flew home to Seattle as Moma Wes’s newest artist on UGK Records, and got to work.
Although crafting his package independently, With the ties to UGK Records as well as raw talent he has been the element of contraversy and the topic of conversation. Learning, developing, and polishing off as time passes, Bryn King is one to keep an eye on. NOT to be overlooked.
